It has been a great end to our summer show season @ the Indiana State Fair.
Highlights include:
- Grand & top selling Berk gilt - it took $3500 to bring her back home. We are honored that Todd Harvey was contending on this great gilt despite already owning her $3600 full-sister purchased in 2009 and her $1550 littemate that he bought this Spring. Repeat customers are the ulitimate compliment in the hog business.
- Grand & top selling Berk boar selling to the Huff family for $1300.
- Pair of 7-litter Stimulus boars placed 3rd & 4th and sold for $2000 & $1900 respectively. The $2000 boar sold to Brian Hines and Ron Iverson. He is named White Collar and semen is available by calling Ron.

- 7-Litter Stimulus Hampshire gilt won her class at the 4H Show and 3rd in the open show selling to the Wehmeir family for $2000.

- Champion Berk and 6th overall 4H barrow being a son of the $3600 full-sib gilt to this years Berk litter. This litter also contained Acton's 5th overall barrow @ Montgomery Co and Hendrickson's 2nd place gilt @ InSF 4H show.
-The 1st place class 8 Hamp barrow was out of the gilt we sold to the Smoot family last year.
