LILLY
All You Want x Head of The Class
$3600 Reserve Sr Champion & Top Selling @ Indiana

Every now and then a pig is farrowed and you know instantly its going to be pretty cool.  This is the first time we knew it when only one back leg could be seen.  Without question the most massively boned little pig we have ever farrowed.

The Berkshire breed has come a long way the last few years and we hope Lilly can help continue that in Todd Harvey's excellent sow herd.  Reports from Todd and the Maucks are that she looks tremendous and is as massive as ever.

Bred to Timber for a January Litter

Bottom picture is Lilly at a few days old.
Miss Molly
Can't Touch This x Pi R Squared
$11,000 Grand Champion Duroc Gilt at 2009 STC and Grand Champion Gilt Overall at Rush County Fair.  We don't raise Durocs but Mitch has always enjoyed showing a Duroc Gilt.  We hit a once in a lifetime experience with Miss Molly.  We thought she was pretty cool when we got her home, but she just kept getting better and better.  We talked to Steve @ the Extravaganza and told him we thought she might be really good.   Steve told us we might be right as there were littermates were also doing really well.  That litter went on to be the talk of the summer as a boar was the $60,000 WPX Champion and 2 barrows were Grand & Reserve Overall @ WPX and dominated the Indiana Summer Circuit. Certainly this litter has to be in the discussion as one of the best ever.   We would have loved to keep her but were thrilled to see her head back home with the Malcolms.

Farrowed 13 & 10 live in her December 2009 litter by Final Approach - 1 gilt, 9 boars.  Sold for nearly $9000 in their February on-line sale and they still have 2 of the boars on feed.
