Miss Hathaway
Head of the Class son x

This is the CPS Foundation Female that we purchased from the Schaefer Family for $3,200 in December 2008.  She has proven to be well worth the investment!  In her first litter she produced our Berkshire show gilt from the summer which ended up being the Reserve Junior Champion Berk Gilt at the 2009 Indiana State Fair Open Show selling for $3,600 (Top Selling Mature Berk Gilt in the country in 2009) to Todd Harvey & Family. That gilt produced the 2010 InSF Champion Berk & $15,000 6th Overall Barrow, 4th Overall barrow Montgomery Co IN, &2nd place gilt InSF 4H

In her second pure Berk litter (All You Want) she raised the 2010 InSF Grand & Top Selling Boar $1300 & Gilt $3500.  That litter also contained gilts that sold for $1250 & $850 and a barrow that sold for $500 as weanlings.

In her third litter (also by All You Want) in the Fall of 2010, her gilts sold for $2000, $1800, $1500 & $900 and the barrows sold for $1500 & $900.

In her 4th pure litter she produced the $2900 Hog College Gilt and Hog  College Boar as well as a $3000 weanling gilt that one her class at TX state fair despite being severely underline challenged ( which we made sure the owners knew before purchasing).

In her 5th pure litter we finally changed things up and bred her to Gary Coleman.  That litter included 4 gilts & 2 barrows sold / leased so far for $10,000 as well as 2 boars that we plan to stud named Willis & Arnold.

She is bred back to All You Want for a Jan 4th,2012 litter.

Quiet Giant x All She Wrote

This is the most impressive looking sow on our farm!  Being a Quiet Giant x All She Wrote, she and her two littermates, offer very interesting pedigrees for the Hampshire breed.  In her first litter she had our Hamp barrow that placed second in class at the 2008 Indiana State Fair 4-H Junior Show.  In her next litter she had our class winning Hamp Gilt at the 2009 Indiana State Fair Open Show selling for $1,300 to Grinstead Show Team as well as several others that sold as showpigs.  She is an extremely consistent sow.
Circle
Black Eye x Quiet Giant

This Black Eye x Quiet Giant female is a very extreme breeding piece!  She is a littermate to the $1,100 gilt we sold to the Smoot Family that placed 2nd in her class at the 2009 NJSS.  This was a very deep litter, also containing a Hampshire barrow that placed 2nd in his class at the 2009 Indiana State Fair 4-H Junior Show.  The gilt we sold to the Smoots was the most complete gilt in the litter, and this gilt was the most different.   Her width of chest and width going away really makes her unique.

2010 litter included $2000 & $1800 boars that sold to Hines/Iverson & Bernard families respectively.

Bred to Augusta for a Jan 10, 2012 litter.
3-5 T-Bone
T-Bone - Big Kahuna

This spring 2008 T-bone gilt was one of the best gilts we produced in 2008 but got sick before the show season started.   Since her sire - T-Bone - probably had as successful a summer in 2008 at the major shows as any Hampshire boar in a long time, we decided she needed to be kept.  She has an extremely wide made, muscular look, and we feel we have a young sow that will be a big contributor for many years to come.

Her 2010 litter included 2 gilts that sold for $1000 as weanlings and another gilt we kept that was 2nd to our Stimulus gilt @ NJSS, was 1st at the InSF 4H & Open show and sold for $1900. That litter also contained a barrow we showed to 2nd place InSF 4H.

Her Spring litter was sired by Buried Alive and included a $1300 gilt as well as a gilt we are retaining.

Her Fall 2011 litter of Papparzis look incredible

She is bred to Augusta for a Feb 5th, 2012 litter.
Wishbone
Wishbone x All-Sport

Our pick of Kilmer’s gilts offered Spring 2009.  She offers another unique pedigree being a Wishbone x All Sport…. She is incredibly massive with a  rib that we have not seen on another Hampshire gilt.  Her front two thirds are as bold and massive as you can make one while still being a feminine appearing female.  This gilt was penned next to our Malcolm Duroc gilt that went on to be the $11,000 Grand Champion Duroc Gilt at the 2009 STC in our show barn and many thought  this Hampshire gilt was the most impressive pig in the barn.  Unfortunately, she was injured early in the summer and was never able to be shown.

Her Spring 2011 litter by Homebody included the Reserve Grand Gilt InSF open that sold to Bart Ward for $2000 and her offbelt littermate sister that sold for $4500 off the farm in-service to Augusta for a Jan 1,2012 litter.

She is bred to Freight Train for a Jan 23rd, 2012 litter.
Sports Doctor

We purchased this Sports Doctor gilt from the Patrick Family at the Indiana State Fair 4-H Junior Show.  We felt she was a very intriguing gilt when we saw her during check-in at the junior show and were thrilled to be able to purchase her after the show.  She is very moderate framed and as square as you can make one.  She was the Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt at the 2009 Hi Point/Kilmer Customer Appreciation Sale.

This gilt's Spring 2011 goes down as probably the best Hampshire litter ever produced on our farm.  Included 14 live  - 14 farrowed.  With 13 sold & 1 gilt retained.  The litter included the 2011 NBS Reserve Champion Boar, a 2nd place boar to the champion boar @ InSF.

Bred to Augusta for Jan 15th, 2012 litter.
Nibbs

This Hi Definition sired sow was purchased from Jerry Masters as a weanling gilt in the Spring of 2008.  She went on to be named Grand Champion Breeding Gilt Overall Breeds at the Shelby Co. IN Fair.  She was later named the Reserve Grand Champion Poland Gilt at the 2008 Indiana State Fair 4-H Junior Show and retained in our herd.

In her first litter she produced the Grand Champion Gilt Overall Breeds at the 2009 Shelby Co, IN Fair.  This Gilt was also later named Reserve Grand Champion Poland Gilt at the 2009 Indiana State Fair 4-h Junior Show and sold to Jerry Masters for $2,000.  That gilt produced Jerry's $2800 top-selling gilt at the 2010 NBS.

In her 2nd litter she produced the $2000 NBS Hog College gilt as well as several barrows that were champion or reserve in Indiana as well as the reserve points barrow on the IJSC circuit.

Her 3rd pure litter was sired by Passionate Smoke.  This litter included a $2000 gilt, our donation of the 2011 Team Purebred Foundation Female, 2 gilts we are retaining and a $1400 barrow.  The barrows in this litter picked up 4 Jackpot victories and the Champion barrow at the Huntington Co Fair.

Bred to Nom Nom Nom for a Jan 1, 2012 litter.

Fast Pace x  Play it Again

We purchased this Fast Pace sired gilt from Kilmers last spring and she matured better than we imagined.  She was the Champion Crossbred Gilt at the 2009 Rush Co. In. 4-H show.  Scanned a 13.8" loin @ 325 pounds.  Huge forearm and excellent extension.  She is an impressive mature sow.

Her 1st litter produced the 3rd overall barrow @ Coffeyville KS-OK interstate fair as well as the Reserve Grand Market hog @ the 2010 Shelby CO fair in Indiana.

Her 3rd litter pure litter also out of PowerPlant  produced a $1600 gilt, $700 gilt , & several good barrows

She is bred to Tree Shaker for a Jan 1st, 2012 litter.
Sweet Tea x All Sport

July 2009 gilt purchased from Kilmer's.  As wide a Sweet Tea from behind as we have seen with huge forearm and feet.

She had an awsome Fall 2010 litter that included a boar sold to Turning Point SIres and the 11th gilt out of 276 Dark Crosses at Duncan

1st pure litter out of Homemade 45-1 included $3200 barrow.

Her 3rd litter Fall 2011 out of Sticker Shock resulted in an outstanding set of gilts including a $1200 gilt.

She is bred to Augusta for a Jan 9th, 2012 litter
T-Mac
Model T x Easy Rider

August 2009 gilt purchased from Jerry McLemore.  Jerry says she is the best Model T he has ever let go at the time Jake purchased her.  Hampshires have certainly struggled with rear hip design recently and we think this gilt may help solve that puzzle for us.  As unique a rear hip as we have seen.  Also brings an awsome classic Hampshire head and earset.

Finally hit her right in her 3rd litter bred to HomeBody.  Produced 4 gilts sold for $4500 as well as 4 outstanding barrows/boars.

Bred cross to Catalyst for a Feb 21, 2012 Litter
